Our Process
Prime Architectural Metal And Glass Inc.
Innovation
From Start To Finish
Our Estimating Department works closely with clients in developing competitive cost estimates based on architectural drawings, specifications and schedule. We look for opportunities to suggest innovative products and design ideas that will increase performance, save time and lower construction costs.
Upon award of the project, working with the client, our Engineering Department compiles submittal drawings, specific product information and preliminary engineering to the client’s architect for review.
During the submittal phase, our Operations Manager will continue consulting with the client as to project schedule and logistics and begin to schedule and coordinate fabrication and installation resources.
Once the submittal drawings are approved by the architect our Project Manager begins the process of material acquisition based on sequencing and scheduling requirements. Simultaneously, the Engineering Department produces fabrication drawings for our Fabrication Department.
The Operations Manager, working with the Project Manager and the client obtain field measurements and coordinates critical dimensions to be held by the contractor. This information is integrated with the shop drawings in preparation for fabrication.
Fabrication begins as necessary to meet installation schedule requirements and is carefully monitored by our Shop Foreman under the supervision of the Operations Manager. Since we fully control the fabrication process, we can adjust to changing field environments and unanticipated conditions.
Installation of our products is based on the schedule and adjusted to meet the client’s needs. Our team of Operations Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Engineer, Fabrication Foreman and Field Superintendent stay fully engaged in the Project through successful completion.
